What is a VideoGuard?

VideoGuard is a device that connects your company's CCTV surveillance system to SIRA's computer network, which monitors the video surveillance system (VSS) to ensure seamless operation. Video Guard is required for specific activities and sites, such as aircraft rental, car rental, commercial complexes, department stores, e-banking, entertainment, factory, gas station, general administrative office, general trading, gold trading, jewelry stores, general warehouse, hotel, hunting requisites trading, internet services, metals money exchange, novelties trading, real estate security service, shopping center, SIM card trading, and supermarket.

What are the benefits of VideoGuard?

Video Guard offers several benefits for your company's security and data protection. Some of these benefits are:

  1. High-end protection: Video Guard protects your VSS from unauthorized access and tampering by encrypting the data and ensuring high-security standards.
  2. High reliability with superior MTBF: Video Guard ensures high reliability and performance of your VSS by having a mean time between failures (MTBF).

What does VideoGuard monitor?

Video Guard monitors your VSS for any faults or defects that might affect its functionality or quality. Some of these faults are:

  1. Loss of video recording: Video Guard detects if your VSS stops recording video for any reason.
  2. Loss of power: Video Guard detects if your VSS loses power supply and switches to its internal battery backup until the power is restored.
  3. Storage limit: Video Guard detects if your VSS reaches its storage limit and notifies you to free up some space or add more storage capacity.
  4. Hardware/recording failure: Video Guard detects if your VSS has any hardware or recording failure and informs you of the cause and the solution.

What does Video Guard do when it detects faults?

When Video Guard detects any fault in your VSS, it sends a direct notification to SIRA clients and security service providers (SSP) companies via email or SMS. This way, you can immediately fix the problem and ensure the continuity of your VSS.

What VideoGuard does not do?

Video Guard does not interfere with your VSS in any way that might compromise your privacy or data security. Some of the things that Video Guard does not do are:

  1. Does not allow SIRA or anyone else to remote view/watch your VSS: Video Guard only monitors the performance and faults of your VSS and does not allow anyone to access or view your recorded video remotely.
  2. Does not store a backup of recorded video or transfer it to SIRA or anyone else: Video Guard does not store any copy of your recorded video or transfer it to SIRA or anyone else. Your recorded video remains on your VSS only.

Conclusion

VideoGuard is a device that connects your company's electronic surveillance system to SIRA's computer network and monitors its performance and faults. It offers several benefits such as high-end protection, data leak prevention, high reliability, minimizing network disruption, and high-end encryption. It also detects various faults such as loss of video recording, loss of power, storage limit, and hardware/recording failure and notifies you.
